Shame you didn't get the chance to take a photo of when it was just delivered and left at the front, it must have been a 'majestic' sight indeed.

I'm sure the new chippings will be fine for its purpose. Funny enough I've been making the same remark every year whenever I see fresh chippings used as mulch at Regents Park, if it doesn't harm the plants as they're not composted yet. But more likely its not as otherwise they wouldn't keep doing it.Mark and Gazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09427245730390252976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7896756321056623696.post-57091868329757342112012-04-05T07:35:53.759-07:002012-04-05T07:35:53.759-07:00It wasnt so amusing when we realised how much we h...It wasnt so amusing when we realised how much we had to move off the road (where the difficult neighbours live)and Im so aching!

Anyway, Im saving up for additional tree work on a hot day in summer to take up your own tree surgeon recommendation..Clivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10121702191706190527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7896756321056623696.post-66849175281483622172012-04-05T07:30:42.967-07:002012-04-05T07:30:42.967-07:00LOLZ! Some tree surgeons were working down the road and I asked them if I could have some offcuts from some of the thicker branches to create a wildlife/beetle habitat. I proudly bore these mini-logs home, feeling like a real ecowarrior, and carefully laid them in a pile at the back of the garden. To my horror, a couple of weeks later they started to sprout. They were weeping willow! Needless to say I binned them pdq.Victoria Summerleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05055381807236106596noreply@blogger.com
